1:1Blessedisthemanthatwalkethnotinthecounseloftheungodly，norstandethinthewayofsinners，norsittethintheseatofthescornful.

1:2ButhisdelightisinthelawoftheLORD;andinhislawdothhemeditatedayandnight.

1:3Andheshallbelikeatreeplantedbytheriversofwater，thatbringethforthhisfruitinhisseason;hisleafalsoshallnotwither;andwhatsoeverhedoethshallprosper.

1:4Theungodlyarenotso:butarelikethechaffwhichthewinddrivethaway.

1:5Thereforetheungodlyshallnotstandinthejudgment，norsinnersinthecongregationoftherighteous.

1:6FortheLORDknoweththewayoftherighteous:butthewayoftheungodlyshallperish.

2:1Whydotheheathenrage，andthepeopleimagineavainthing?

2:2Thekingsoftheearthsetthemselves，andtherulerstakecounseltogether，againsttheLORD，andagainsthisanointed，saying，

2:3Letusbreaktheirbandsasunder，andcastawaytheircordsfromus.

2:4Hethatsittethintheheavensshalllaugh:theLORDshallhavetheminderision.

2:5Thenshallhespeakuntotheminhiswrath，andvextheminhissoredispleasure.

2:6YethaveIsetmykinguponmyholyhillofZion.

2:7Iwilldeclarethedecree:theLORDhathsaiduntome，ThouartmySon;thisdayhaveIbegottenthee.

2:8Askofme，andIshallgivetheetheheathenforthineinheritance，andtheuttermostpartsoftheearthforthypossession.

2:9Thoushaltbreakthemwitharodofiron;thoushaltdashtheminpieceslikeapottersvessel.

2:10Bewisenowtherefore，Oyekings:beinstructed，yejudgesoftheearth.

2:11ServetheLORDwithfear，andrejoicewithtrembling.

2:12KisstheSon，lesthebeangry，andyeperishfromtheway，whenhiswrathiskindledbutalittle.Blessedarealltheythatputtheirtrustinhim.

3:1Lord，howaretheyincreasedthattroubleme!manyaretheythatriseupagainstme.

3:7Arise，OLORD;saveme，OmyGod:forthouhastsmittenallmineenemiesuponthecheekbone;thouhastbrokentheteethoftheungodly.

3:8SalvationbelongethuntotheLORD:thyblessingisuponthypeople.Selah.

4:1HearmewhenIcall，OGodofmyrighteousness:thouhastenlargedmewhenIwasindistress;havemercyuponme，andhearmyprayer.

4:2Oyesonsofmen，howlongwillyeturnmygloryintoshame?howlongwillyelovevanity，andseekafterleasing?Selah.

4:3ButknowthattheLORDhathsetaparthimthatisgodlyforhimself:theLORDwillhearwhenIcalluntohim.

4:4Standinawe，andsinnot:munewithyourownheartuponyourbed，andbestill.Selah.
