1:1Nowitcametopassinthethirtiethyear，inthefourthmonth，inthefifthdayofthemonth，asIwasamongthecaptivesbytheriverofChebar，thattheheavenswereopened，andIsawvisionsofGod.

1:2Inthefifthdayofthemonth，whichwasthefifthyearofkingJehoiachinscaptivity，

1:3ThewordoftheLORDcameexpresslyuntoEzekielthepriest，thesonofBuzi，inthelandoftheChaldeansbytheriverChebar;andthehandoftheLORDwasthereuponhim.

1:4AndIlooked，and，behold，awhirlwindcameoutofthenorth，agreatcloud，andafireinfoldingitself，andabrightnesswasaboutit，andoutofthemidstthereofasthecolourofamber，outofthemidstofthefire.

1:5Alsooutofthemidstthereofcamethelikenessoffourlivingcreatures.Andthiswastheirappearance;theyhadthelikenessofaman.

1:6Andeveryonehadfourfaces，andeveryonehadfourwings.

1:7Andtheirfeetwerestraightfeet;andthesoleoftheirfeetwaslikethesoleofacalfsfoot:andtheysparkledlikethecolourofburnishedbrass.

1:8Andtheyhadthehandsofamanundertheirwingsontheirfoursides;andtheyfourhadtheirfacesandtheirwings.

1:9Theirwingswerejoinedonetoanother;theyturnednotwhentheywent;theywenteveryonestraightforward.

1:10Asforthelikenessoftheirfaces，theyfourhadthefaceofaman，andthefaceofalion，ontherightside:andtheyfourhadthefaceofanoxontheleftside;theyfouralsohadthefaceofaneagle.

1:13Asforthelikenessofthelivingcreatures，theirappearancewaslikeburningcoalsoffire，andliketheappearanceoflamps:itwentupanddownamongthelivingcreatures;andthefirewasbright，andoutofthefirewentforthlightning.

1:14Andthelivingcreaturesranandreturnedastheappearanceofaflashoflightning.

1:15NowasIbeheldthelivingcreatures，beholdonewheelupontheearthbythelivingcreatures，withhisfourfaces.

1:16Theappearanceofthewheelsandtheirworkwaslikeuntothecolourofaberyl:andtheyfourhadonelikeness:andtheirappearanceandtheirworkwasasitwereawheelinthemiddleofawheel.

1:17Whentheywent，theywentupontheirfoursides:andtheyturnednotwhentheywent.

1:20Whithersoeverthespiritwastogo，theywent，thitherwastheirspirittogo;andthewheelswereliftedupoveragainstthem:forthespiritofthelivingcreaturewasinthewheels.

1:21Whenthosewent，thesewent;andwhenthosestood，thesestood;andwhenthosewereliftedupfromtheearth，thewheelswereliftedupoveragainstthem:forthespiritofthelivingcreaturewasinthewheels.

1:22Andthelikenessofthefirmamentupontheheadsofthelivingcreaturewasasthecolouroftheterriblecrystal，stretchedforthovertheirheadsabove.

1:23Andunderthefirmamentweretheirwingsstraight，theonetowardtheother:everyonehadtwo，whichcoveredonthisside，andeveryonehadtwo，whichcoveredonthatside，theirbodies.

1:28Astheappearanceofthebowthatisinthecloudinthedayofrain，sowastheappearanceofthebrightnessroundabout.ThiswastheappearanceofthelikenessofthegloryoftheLORD.AndwhenIsawit，Ifelluponmyface，andIheardavoiceofonethatspake.

2:6Andthou，sonofman，benotafraidofthem，neitherbeafraidoftheirwords，thoughbriersandthornsbewiththee，andthoudostdwellamongscorpions:benotafraidoftheirwords，norbedismayedattheirlooks，thoughtheybearebellioushouse.

2:7Andthoushaltspeakmywordsuntothem，whethertheywillhear，orwhethertheywillforbear:fortheyaremostrebellious.

2:8Butthou，sonofman，hearwhatIsayuntothee;Benotthourebelliouslikethatrebellioushouse:openthymouth，andeatthatIgivethee.
